Midnight Shadows began as an experiment in emotional immersion.

While writing my dark romance novels as Cara Ravelli, I started creating soundscapes to match each chapter — slow, cinematic tracks built from the inner monologues of my characters. The low hum of a restrained alpha’s control. The fragile heartbeat of a vulnerable heart. The reckless flame of someone who burns everything to feel alive. Those recordings evolved into full songs.

Caramella, Noah Reid, Mia, Jace T. Evans — each voice sings a psychological archetype found within my stories: the reborn queen, the restrained alpha, the vulnerable heart, the reckless flame.

Rather than separating music and fiction, Midnight Shadows merges them.
